Other POS Pricing

Pay only for what you use. A tiny fee per receipt, no subscriptions, no hardware.

Waraqa is not limited to the three systems on this site. Every integration is a module we build against that POS system's own documentation, and we normalise the differences on our side. If your POS can describe a sale and identify the customer on it, it can almost certainly send receipts through Waraqa.

What Waraqa needs from a point-of-sale system

Rather than make you guess whether your system qualifies, here is the whole requirement. An integration is possible when your POS can do these three things:

  • Send Waraqa a receipt when a sale is completed — items, quantities, prices, discounts, tax and total.
  • Include the customer on that sale, with a phone number. The phone number is what identifies the customer; a receipt without one is ignored.
  • Send a separate event for a return, refund or exchange, so the receipt the customer already has can be updated.

How a new integration gets built

You tell us which system you run and we look at its API documentation. Each POS describes a sale differently, so we build a module that speaks its format and normalises it into ours — that is how Loyverse, Shopify and Foodics each work today.

We are also planning to publish an integration specification, so a smaller POS vendor can build against Waraqa directly rather than waiting for us to write a custom module. If you are the vendor rather than the merchant, that is worth a conversation.

Everything else works the same

The integration is the only part that differs by POS. Once receipts are arriving, you get exactly what every other Waraqa store gets: WhatsApp receipt delivery with no app required for the customer, a loyalty program with tiers and birthday points, a merchant dashboard with your customer list and analytics, campaigns to your own customers, and return tracking tied to the original receipt.

Points are worth 100 to 1 unit of your local currency, are specific to your store, and are redeemed at the counter.

What happens to the history you already have

Switching usually means starting from zero, and that is the part store owners dread: a loyalty program with nobody in it and an analytics dashboard with nothing to show.

It does not work that way here. When we connect your system we pull your existing order history across at no charge, so your dashboard has something in it from the first day and your customers can open the app and see purchases they made before you had ever heard of Waraqa.

What it costs

The same per-receipt model as the rest of the platform, set by your country — use the calculator above to see your rate. No subscription, no hardware, no contract.

Building the integration itself is our work, not a line on your invoice. You pay for receipts, the same as everyone else.

Frequently asked questions

My POS is not Loyverse, Shopify or Foodics. Can I still use Waraqa?
Very likely. Every integration is a custom module built against that system's API. If your POS can send a completed sale with a customer phone number attached, and can report returns separately, it can work with Waraqa. Get in touch and tell us which system you run.
How long does a new integration take?
It depends entirely on the POS and how well its API is documented, so we will not quote you a number before looking. Tell us the system and we will give you a real answer rather than a guess.
Do I pay extra for a custom integration?
No. Building the module is our side of the work. You pay the same per-receipt rate as every other store, based on your country.
I am a POS vendor, not a store. Can we integrate directly?
Yes, and that is the direction we are heading. We are planning to publish a specification defining exactly what Waraqa needs, so vendors can build against it without a custom module from us. Contact us and we will work through it with you.
What if my POS cannot capture a customer phone number?
Then digital receipts cannot be delivered, because the phone number is how a receipt reaches its owner. That is the one hard requirement — everything else we can usually work around.
